Overview

Mutts & Mousers provides delivery throughout the United States for pet gift baskets and related gifts for dogs, cats, and pet owners. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout based on the recipient’s address, product eligibility, delivery method, and service availability.

We prepare and coordinate orders based on recipient address, product selection, delivery requirements, routing, product availability, and applicable delivery rules. Available delivery options and estimated delivery dates are shown during checkout where available.

Order Processing

Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, order change, cancellation, gift-message update, or other order adjustment should contact customer service as early as possible.

Once an order has shipped, or once preparation, customization, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Delivery Timing

Mutts & Mousers offers nationwide delivery across the United States. Same-day delivery may be available for eligible orders in select areas, including Los Angeles, New York City, and Northern New Jersey. Same-day availability is confirmed during checkout based on location and product selection.

Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery times unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Mutts & Mousers. Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic, weather, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, carrier or courier performance, product availability, and operational capacity.

Residential deliveries typically occur by end of day. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries typically occur during standard business hours where possible.

Delivery Completion

Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated or required due to product type, delivery location, alcohol content, age verification, building rules, carrier requirements, or applicable delivery laws.

Orders may be left in a safe location or delivered to the recipient, a building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, package room, loading area, or other building-approved receiving point where appropriate.

Once proof of delivery has been obtained, or the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, mailroom, concierge, security desk, front desk, package room, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.

Office, Building, and Managed Property Deliveries

Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, schools, gated communities, and managed properties may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, package room, or another building-approved receiving point.

Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, department, suite or unit number, recipient phone number, building instructions, gate codes where appropriate, and any access information needed for delivery.

Mutts & Mousers is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, damage, or mishandling that occurs after delivery has been completed to a building-approved or carrier-approved receiving point.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time an order is placed.

  • Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before the order ships or delivery coordination begins.
  • Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be delayed, misdelivered, returned, or undeliverable.
  • Refunds, replacements, or credits may not be issued for orders affected by address errors, missing suite or unit numbers, incorrect recipient information, unavailable recipient phone numbers, or incomplete delivery instructions.
  • Additional delivery, re-delivery, re-shipping, or product replacement fees may apply when address information must be corrected after an order is placed.

Service Area Review

Some addresses may require additional review before fulfillment proceeds, including addresses in remote areas, controlled-access locations, locations with limited courier access, or areas where same-day delivery eligibility is uncertain.

If an address requires additional delivery coordination or fees, customer service may contact the purchaser before fulfillment continues. If delivery cannot be completed to the address provided, the order may be modified, delayed, cancelled, or treated as undeliverable depending on the circumstances.

Undeliverable Orders

Orders may be considered undeliverable when delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address information, recipient unavailability, refused delivery, restricted access, failed age verification where applicable, unsafe conditions, carrier or courier limitations, or circumstances outside our control.

  • Refunds may not be issued for undeliverable orders caused by customer or recipient circumstances.
  • Re-delivery or re-shipping may incur additional fees.
  • Perishable items may need to be remade or replaced and cannot always be recovered, reused, or resold.
  • Incorrect or incomplete address information remains the customer’s responsibility.
  • Orders containing alcohol or restricted items may be subject to additional delivery requirements before re-delivery can be attempted.

Perishable and Time-Sensitive Products

Some Mutts & Mousers products may include perishable, seasonal, temperature-sensitive, or time-sensitive components, including bakery-style dog treats, dog chocolate, food items, or specialty gift components. These items are selected and prepared with delivery timing and product condition in mind.

Customers and recipients are responsible for promptly receiving, opening, inspecting, storing, and using products after delivery. Mutts & Mousers is not responsible for product condition issues caused by delayed retrieval, weather exposure after delivery, improper storage, recipient unavailability, or failure to follow applicable product handling instructions.

If a perishable component is unavailable or not suitable for delivery conditions, it may be replaced with an appropriate alternative at our discretion to protect quality, presentation, and successful delivery.

Substitutions

Because items are subject to availability, substitutions may be made when necessary. In all cases, we ensure the overall intent, value, and pet-appropriateness of the gift are maintained, using our judgment to deliver a thoughtful and well-prepared basket.

Substitutions may involve bakery-style treats, dog chocolate, toys, accessories, owner add-ons, packaging, presentation materials, seasonal goods, branded items, or other product components. Due to product availability, delivery timing, and order volume, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.

Alcohol and Regulated Products

Some Mutts & Mousers products or add-ons may include alcohol or other regulated products where permitted by applicable law. Alcohol is intended for pet owners only and is never intended for pets.

Delivery of alcohol or regulated products is subject to applicable federal, state, local, carrier, courier, and delivery requirements based on the delivery destination and product selected.

Age verification, adult signature, recipient availability, valid identification, and additional delivery requirements may apply where required. Failed delivery due to age verification, recipient unavailability, refusal, restricted access, unavailable identification, or local delivery requirements may not be eligible for refund, replacement, credit, or free re-delivery.

Same-Day Delivery Eligibility

Same-day delivery is available for eligible orders in select areas, including Los Angeles, New York City, and Northern New Jersey. Availability is confirmed during checkout based on the recipient’s address, product selection, delivery date, and operational capacity.

Same-day delivery is not available for every product, address, or order. Same-day delivery estimates may be affected by product preparation, routing, traffic, weather, courier availability, recipient availability, building access, and other operational factors.

Gift Messages and Recipient Details

Mutts & Mousers orders may include personalized gift messages. Customers are responsible for entering recipient names, pet names, sender names, gift messages, delivery instructions, and other personalized details accurately before submitting an order.

Errors in gift messages, recipient details, pet details, delivery instructions, or personalization submitted by the purchaser may not be correctable once preparation, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun.

External Factors

Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, traffic, carrier disruptions, courier delays, labor disruptions, supply shortages, holidays, public emergencies, building access restrictions, security procedures, technology outages, payment processing issues, or transportation network issues.

We are not responsible for refunds, replacements, credits, delays, failed delivery attempts, or non-delivery caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers may use the order tracking tool available on this website to check available order and delivery status information. Tracking information may depend on carrier, courier, fulfillment, or system updates and may not always reflect real-time delivery progress.
